Falk Lehmann, better known as AKUT, is a renowned photorealistic artist and photographer based in Berlin. He is a co-founder of the legendary Ma'Claim Crew and one half of the street art duo Herakut. AKUT's work is characterized by a meticulous photorealistic precision, deeply rooted in the graffiti culture of the 90s. Originally from Schmalkalden, AKUT was one of the pioneers of graffiti in his hometown during the late 80s. His unique approach to graffiti, focusing on photorealism rather than the traditional tagging and lettering, set his work apart from graffiti found elsewhere in the world.

Trained in communication and graphic design, AKUT excels not only as a painter but also as a photographer. His photographic series address numerous social issues faced by people daily, ranging from homelessness in Hawaii due to rising rents in America to child labor in Nepal. AKUT's murals are vibrant and alive, reflecting his deep understanding of the essence of street art. His work demonstrates how graffiti can positively transform environments, infusing them with life and offering new perspectives. Through his explorations of various techniques, materials, tools, and disciplines, AKUT continually pushes the boundaries of his art, making significant contributions to both street art and contemporary art scenes.
