The Story Behind

Rising Tide

"Rising Tide," my largest work to date at six stories high, is designed to captivate with its vibrant, eye-catching appearance. Yet, a closer look reveals a darker truth - the multicolored elements represent microplastics and pollution. This subtlety underscores my belief that pollution often manifests as an understated threat, driven by small, daily choices with cumulative impacts. At its core, the piece also conveys optimism, with a strong feminine figure triumphantly rising above the chaos, symbolizing hope and a path forward.
