The Story behind Copper

Every minute, 1 million plastic bottles are consumed worldwide, and the number is rising by 5% every year. I painted this plastic bottle in bright metallic copper paint to sacralize an object we overproduce and overconsume. I then sculpted a teal-to-orange coral reef on top of the plastic bottle.
